Job Summary
Drive product sales by effectively communicating features and benefits in a persuasive manner. Develop relationships with key contacts to influence sales. Meet and/or exceed selected metrics by executing selling focused activities including but not limited to phone sales, virtual presentations, and email communications with both perspective and current targets. Create and maintain territory growth through strategic targeting and ongoing selling/support to customers. Influence is seen on a territory level.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve daily and weekly call metrics
- Manage time and desk accordingly to complete all required tasks
- Communicate effectively in verbal and visual presentations to customers that align with key messages
- Create and execute collaborative tactics with outside sales partners in shared territories to increase target sales
- Maintain required project documentation and CRM database
- Handle and resolve customer objections and complaints in a professional manner
- Provide customers with strong support and answer inquiries within compliance
- Participate in training and development programs
- Follow all compliance requirements for calls and sampling procedures
Required Skills:
- Excellent persuasive communication skills, both oral and written
Strong individual drive, persistence, and resilience (i.e. GRIT) - Possess powerful customer focus skills
- Demonstrate the ability to function effectively in a collaborative environment
- Aptitude for learning and retaining technical and clinical product-related information
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Word as well as Teams and Zoom
- Ability to speak and hear clearly on phone calls and presentations
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to adapt and change focus quickly
Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred Skills:
- Two years of inside sales experience is preferred
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred
- Documented track record of sales success
