Our compensation package is competitive with the industry. Our salaries are comparable with the prevailing range within our industry and our benefits package includes medical insurance, vacation pay, 401(k) and an automobile allowance for our sales reps. Associate Neurology Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Meet and/or exceed selected metrics and sales goals in assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan and delivering unparalleled customer service to key customer targets in Neurology offices. Deliver brand-specific presentations to appropriate health care professionals based on business and customer needs. Effectively utilize and manage all Company approved resources to drive TRXs while maintaining a strong foundation of ethics and integrity in a compliant environment.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)

  • Proactively sell and promote OWP products to targeted physicians and healthcare professionals in assigned territory and develop an appropriate territory business plan to positively influence their prescribing habits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influential customers in the territory (e.g. high prescribers, thought leaders, nurses, office staff and pharmacists) to enhance company and/or product loyalty and build the OWP brand.
  • Manage territory promotional budget to support sales and marketing activities.
  • Develop and conduct programs to enhance territory sales and build business plans to meet goals.
  • Seek and analyze information on competition, market and industry trends and discern how this could impact the business and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize time and resources (promotional budget, samples, etc.) to maximize sales.
  • Leverage understanding of product information to consult, influence and maintain customer relationships.
  • Customize discussions with customers based on understanding the customer’s practice and needs and the customer’s personality profile.
  • Actively participate in continuous learning and development programs, such as technical updates and professional skills enhancement.
  • Complete and adhere to all administrative duties, compliance policies and training in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to inVentiv and OWP standards and values for personal honesty, integrity, trust, respect, and accountability.
  • Project a professional image as demonstrated by appearance and clear communication skills. Treat others with dignity and respect.
  • Demonstrate persistence towards accomplishing defined sales goals and objectives despite obstacles and or rejection of original efforts.
  • Comply with established processes for Adverse Event and Product Quality Complaint Reporting.
  • Escalate healthcare professional’s requests for additional product information to appropriate Medical Information personnel.
  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Overnight travel may be required, approximately up to 25%
  • Consideration for this position requires an acceptable driving record. Must have a dependable automobile with insurance coverage in compliance with company guidelines and maintain a valid driver’s license.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • B2B, hospitality or strong customer service experience a plus
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills required
  • Documented track record of success required
  • Recent geographic experience preferred

Skills and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated outstanding record as an individual producer making a strong impact in launch situations

Virtual Sales & Marketing Representative

Description:

The Virtual Sales & Marketing Representative will integrally be involved in the launch of our first product, a branded generic antiepileptic drug (AED), which became available on the market in Spring 2016. The representative will work directly with the Leadership Team, including Sales and Marketing, yet will primarily work independently in our Naperville office. The main focus of this position will be communicating via phone and internet technology to introduce our product to targeted health care providers and pharmacists, and to maintain ongoing professional relationships with these contacts to promote the adoption and use of our product.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in training and development programs
  • Assist in marketing analysis of potential neurology physician base
  • Develop a daily and weekly call plan to support complete and efficient coverage of targeted accounts and territories
  • Place outbound calls to targeted neurology office practitioners and staff, and pharmacies around the United States
  • Accept incoming calls from neurology offices to provide necessary and accurate product information
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all promoted products and selling materials
  • Develop and perform comprehensive and accurate sales presentations using appropriate sales and marketing materials
  • Enter and maintain contact and call information into contact management systems
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints with appropriate documentation
  • Identify, evaluate and organize priority tasks in order to complete responsibilities efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Contribute to innovative marketing evolution and development
  • Complete other projects and tasks in support of the Neurology Account Managers and Sales Team

Associate Manager of Sales Operations

Description:

The Associate Manager of Sales Operations will be integrally involved in the launch of OWP’s first pharmaceutical product, an antiepileptic drug (AED), which became available on the market in Spring 2016. They will work directly with the Leadership Team and with the internal Virtual Sales team in our Naperville office. The main focus of this position will be supervising the internal Virtual Sales team, developing sales materials and coordinating various projects and developments within OWP.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise interns in Virtual Sales team and coordinate intern tasks
  • Assist in development of selling verbiage, sales training and sales resources for outside and inside sales
  • Develop call plan for Virtual Sales to support complete and efficient coverage of targeted accounts and territories
  • Coordinate schedule and training materials of 2 week new-hire training program and assist in development of learning materials
  • Contribute to creating job descriptions, interview guides, interview process and selection of intern candidates
  • Develop efficient and organized office operating systems due to start-up nature of company
  • Identify, evaluate and organize priority tasks in order to complete responsibilities efficiently
  • Complete other projects and tasks in support of the inside and outside sales teams
